Nosy Be reveals itself to you in a new way: ylang ylang, lemurs, historical features, the must-see Mont Passot … A very full day exploring the island of perfumes!
Welcome by our guide at the Port of Hell-Ville at 9AM.
Departure for the ylang-ylang plantation and visiting the distillery of Ampasimenabe. Meeting with the lemurs in the famous Lemuria Land.
Going through Marodoka village, the former capital of Nosy Be: more or less preserved old remains of a bygone era make you relive the entire history of the island of perfumes.
Visiting the local market and Hell’s esplanade, then riding the coast road where recent huts stand alongside with beautiful colonial homes with timeless charm.
Paying respects to the sacred tree and visiting its museum in Mahatsinjo to know the history and origins of the Sakalava people.
On the way back, lunch at Loulou’s in Andilana, on the edge of the beach: one of the best restaurants on the island. A very nice and pleasant place where the beach invites to relaxation.
In the afternoon, around 3:30PM, continuing to Mont Passot. From its modest 329m, it offers the best views of the island: a splendid view of the lakes and islands around Nosy Be.
Back to the Port late in the day.
